Sarreguemines ceramic manufacturing (1790-2007) began when Nicholas Jacoby and two partners opened a small earthenware factory in the town of Sarreguemines, France. Their reputation was second to none. céramique qui s’est développée de 1790 à 2007 dans la ville de Sarreguemines en Lorraine. 

In its two centuries of existance the small family industry born during the Revolution has come a long way. Paul Utzschneider and Paul de Geiger helped the small factory to become a model for pottery production.
