Magnificent vintage French polychrome earthenware cake service set dating from the 19th / 20th century. The plates were manufactured by Henriot Quimper which was founded in 1690.
The set includes a serving dish and 12 small octagonal plates, each hand-decorated with typically Breton characters.
Each plate is stamped: Henriot Quimper France 179.
