Vintage Le Creuset cast-iron casserole in volcanic orange with lid.

"La Mama" was created by one of the world's most prestigious designers, Enzo Mari for Le Creuset. A unique item with a minimalist aesthetic, it has become a timeless collector's item.

Le Creuset was created by two Belgians, Armand Desaegher, a cast iron specialist, and Octave Aubecq, an enamel specialist, in 1925 to produce enamelled kitchen utensils.

This foundry was located ideally in the Aisne at Fresnoy-Le-Grand at the crossroads of transport routes for raw materials such as coal, iron and sand.

Renowned for its enamelled cast-iron casseroles, it is now the world leader in enamelled cast-iron cookware!

This pot will be perfect for braising or simmering meat or vegetable dishes.

In addition to facilitating your work in the kitchen, the pure aesthetics of this utensil as well as its superb colour make it a decorative addition to any table.
