C’est en 1768 que l’on trouva des gisements exploitables de <\/span>kaolin<\/span><\/a> mat\u00e9riau indispensable \u00e0 la production de cette c\u00e9ramique dure et translucide, et c\u2019est \u00e0 partir de cette d\u00e9couverte qu\u2019est n\u00e9e et s\u2019est d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e la porcelaine de Limoges.<\/span><\/p>\n

Depuis le 18e si\u00e8cle, la notori\u00e9t\u00e9 de la porcelaine de Limoges s’est d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e au point que le nom de la ville \u00e9voque imm\u00e9diatement l’art de la porcelaine.<\/span><\/p>\n
