He took over the business and when he died in 1857, his children and nephews succeeded him, including Th\u00e9ophile Fenal, who created his own factory in Badonviller.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Badonviller factory was an important manufacturer of fine earthenware in the 19th century.
