8 assiettes \u00e0 dessert vintage en porcelaine blanche de la manufacture GDA (G\u00e9rard Dufraisseix & Abbot) commercialis\u00e9es dans les ann\u00e9es 1900.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Chaque assiette est orn\u00e9e de tournesols ou de crocus, avec un joli pourtour v\u00e9g\u00e9tal, et est estampill\u00e9e de : \u201c GDA – France\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

GDA est en fait, la plus ancienne manufacture de porcelaine de Limoges cr\u00e9\u00e9e en 1797, encore en activit\u00e9 aujourd’hui (sous l’actuel nom de Royal Limoges).<\/span><\/p>\n

Limoges porcelain is one of the two main porcelain productions in France, located around the city of Limoges in Hautes-Viennes.<\/span><\/p>\n

C\u2019est en 1768 que l\u2019on trouva des gisements exploitables de kaolin, mat\u00e9riau indispensable \u00e0 la production de cette c\u00e9ramique et c\u2019est \u00e0 partir de cette d\u00e9couverte qu\u2019est n\u00e9e et s\u2019est d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e la porcelaine de Limoges.<\/span><\/p>\n

L\u2019histoire de cette manufacture inclut les plus grands noms de la porcelaine de Limoges. D\u2019abord connu sous le nom Alluaud, la Maison G\u00e9rard, Dufraisseix et Morel, puis G\u00e9rard, Dufraisseix & Abbot, \u00e0 partir du 26 d\u00e9cembre 1900 lorsque l’am\u00e9ricain Abbot devint l’un des associ\u00e9s.<\/span><\/p>\n
