Les Fa\u00efenceries de Gien sont une entreprise de fabrication de fa\u00efence fine situ\u00e9e dans la ville \u00e9ponyme dans la r\u00e9gion Centre-Val de Loire, fond\u00e9e par Thomas Edme Hulm\u00e9n (dit Hall) en 1821.<\/span><\/p>\n

Parmi les nombreuses fa\u00efenceries n\u00e9es au XIXe si\u00e8cle, celle de Gien est l\u2019une des plus renomm\u00e9es et la plus importante d\u2019Europe. La manufacture a excell\u00e9 dans l\u2019art de l\u2019imitation et a fabriqu\u00e9 des copies de pi\u00e8ces du pass\u00e9 \u00e0 un prix accessible.<\/span><\/p>\n

Des pi\u00e8ces uniques ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9es avec le concours d\u2019artistes de talent qui les ont illustr\u00e9es de nouveaux d\u00e9cors ou se sont inspir\u00e9s de ceux des si\u00e8cles pass\u00e9s (XVIIe et XVIIIe si\u00e8cles) ou d\u2019autres fa\u00efenceries europ\u00e9ennes et d\u2019Extr\u00eame-Orient.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
