Founded in 1705, Saint-Amand-les-Eaux earthenware is a ceramic and porcelain production from Saint-Amand, a small town in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region, which is a pioneer in the history of tableware factories and in the history of tableware.
Its numerous factories were founded in the 17th century: the Moulin des Loups earthenware factory, the Saint-Amand-les-Eaux earthenware factory, the Saint-Amand-Orchies-Hamage earthenware and porcelain factories, the Saint-Amand and Hamage Nord ceramics factories, and Ceranord, which closed in 1962 with the closure of the Manufacture de Faïence et de Porcelaines.
Nowadays, HB-Henriot is well known all over the world for its know-how : the "Quimper paint touch" and the tradition of producing and hand-painting every piece in-house as well as the creation of its own moulds.
Very good state.
