Genuine vintage stuffed squirrel with a red coat.
The animal was naturalised in the late 19th / early 20th century, by a professional, with great care and taste.
Its posture is beautiful: posed on a branch, it holds a nut in its paw (it looks like "Scrat"). He looks alive, a very far cry from scary-looking badly-stuffed animals
