Genuine vintage glass apothecary bottle with spout

This balm was invented by Père Tranquille, a 17th -Century Capuchin monk. Used as a friction for rheumatism and nervous pains, the balm was composed of a multitude of plants enriched with narcotic principles and aromatic herbs dissolved in olive oil.
This apothecary / chemist / pharmacy / medicine storage jar bears traces of its past but will be a perfect addition to any curiosity cabinet, and will add a lovely retro touch to your interior.
