La faïencerie de Choisy-le-Roi a été fondée par les frères Paillart en 1805, Ils produisaient de la faïence fine à décor imprimé à partir de 1808. La manufacture est rebaptisée H. Boulenger & Cie en 1863 par son nouveau propriétaire Hippolyte Boulenger. It received several official awards at World Fairs and became the main centre of influence in Choisy. Expositions universelles et devient le principal centre de rayonnement de Choisy. In 1920, H.B. & Cie bought the Manufacture de Montereau, owner of the Creil-Montereau brand, and became H.B.C.M Creil-Montereau, et devient H.B.C.M
