Antique ironstone sauceboat with a green neo-renaissance style motif.
Founded in 1797. Creil-Montereau earthenware is a ceramic production coming from the communes of Montereau, in the department of Seine-et-Marne and Creil, in Oise. It developed especially in the 19th century and was the first employer of the city of Creil for decades.
Nowadays, HB-Henriot is well known all over the world for its know-how : the "Quimper paint touch" and the tradition of producing and hand-painting every piece in-house as well as the creation of its own moulds.
