Stamped on the bottom : "Sarreguemines - France".

Sarreguemines earthenware is a ceramic production which developed from 1790 to 2007 in the town of Sarreguemines in Lorraine.

The reputation of Sarreguemines earthenware is well established. In two centuries, the small family industry born during the Revolution has come a long way.

Paul Utzschneider and Paul de Geiger propelled the small town to the forefront of the faience industry.
