2 Antique French Porcelain Bowls CP France - Saint Therese of Lisieux

Pair of beautiful porcelain bowls from the Compagnie Nationale de France, commemorating Saint Therese of the Child Jesus

These two small containers decorated with a floral frieze and golden borders, are decorated with the bust of Carmelite nun born in Alençon on January 2, 1873 and who died on September 30, 1897 in Lisieux.

Stamped: "CNP France" a factory in Vierzon which revolutionised the porcelain industry.

It was founded following the economic crisis of 1952, with the merger of Taillemite, Jacquin de Vierzon and the Cie française de porcelaines du Centre de Saint-genou.

The items are sold as is with the traces of their past life.
