Vintage cast iron flatiron / sad iron.
It is hollowed out in the center and stamped with an anchor logo on which is written "CF".
We can also see the inscription "RR" on the bottom.
The CF irons come from the Camion Frères company in Vivier-au-Court.
The production of household items such as irons and waffle irons flourished in the inter-war years.
CHAPPEE irons come from the Antoigné forge in Sainte Jamme sur Sarthe, which was revived by Victor Doré in the 17th century.
