It is stamped with : "Berger - Anisette".
This distillery, set up by Charles-Frédéric Berger in Couvet in 1830, was awarded the Medal of Honour in Philadelphia in 1876 and the Gold Medal in Tunis in 1888. It has become a classic in the bistros of the Val-de-Travers, and its reputation has spread far beyond its borders.
