Vintage wooden swivelling clockmaker's stool from the Bayard factory.

The company Réveil Bayard was founded in Saint-Nicolas-d'Aliermont in Upper Normandy in 1867 by Albert Villon, who specialized in travel clocks and marine watches. Its history flourished for 172 years.

No longer in existence, the factory's heritage is preserved in the Saint-Nicolas clock museum.
