Le Creuset was created in 1925 by two Belgians : Armand Desaegher specialised in cast iron, and Octave Aubecq specialised in enamellng, to enamel kitchen utensils.

This foundry was located ideally in the Aisne at Fresnoy-Le-Grand at the crossroads of transport routes for raw materials such as coal, iron and sand.

Renowned for its enamelled cast-iron casseroles, it is now the world leader in enamelled cast-iron cookware!

This pot will be perfect for braising or simmering meat or vegetable dishes. In addition to facilitating your work in the kitchen, the pure aesthetics of this utensil as well as its superb colour make it a decorative addition to any table.

It is also an excellent gift for collectors and nostalgics
