Vintage orange cast-iron enamelled Coquelle cooking pot with matching baking dish dating from the 1960s.

Created by the famous industrial designer and graphic artist Raymond Loewy for Le Creuset. It has become a collector's item, while remaining a fully functioning kitchen accessory. 

Le Creuset was created in 1925 by two Belgians : Armand Desaegher specialised in cast iron, and Octave Aubecq specialised in enamellng, to enamel kitchen utensils.

This foundry was located ideally in the Aisne at Fresnoy-Le-Grand at the crossroads of transport routes for raw materials such as coal, iron and sand.

Renowned mainly for its enamelled cast iron casseroles, it is today the world leader in enamelled cast iron cookware !

These timeless pieces will be perfect for braising or simmering meat or vegetable dishes, while adding a lovely retro touch to your kitchen.
