The manufacture of earthenware in Badonviller began in 1828 when Nicolas Fenal inherited an earthenware factory in Meurthe-et-Moselle. He took over the business and when he died in 1857, his children and nephews succeeded him, including Théophile Fenal, who created his own factory in Badonviller.

The Badonviller factory was an important manufacturer of fine earthenware in the 19th century. It is one of the many factories in eastern France that took advantage of the wood resources of the Lorraine forests to heat the kilns.

Perfect for completing a dinner service creating a beautiful sunny table with its design typical of the 50s / 60s.
