Magnificent vintage French animal sculpture in ceramic typical of the Art Deco period signed by C. Battachi
It depicts a panther lurking in the grass with its mouth open, and its fangs visible.
The statue is in good condition with the exception of a scratch on its back and some chips at the bottom of the base.
The signature reads C (or E) Battachi.
Superb piece which can be seen through its colors and its condition.
