Vintage French large dish; a presentation plate in white ceramic with shades of blue for the decor inspired by Delft earthenware.
In the center are 2 lions alongside a shield with a cross. Above and below the shield it reads: "Cruce Deo Gladio Regi Jungor" which is the motto of the house Saint Phalle.
The piece is signed by the artist on the bottom and it reads: R.
The enamel is worn on the left rim along approx 3 cm; otherwise the piece is in good condition.
This object resembles an antique piece of Rouen earthenware but I am not an expert so I cannot guarantee its origin.
