Magnificent antique earthenware plate manufactured by LONGWY Japonais, dating from the Art Nouveau period. (late 19th-early 20th century)
The piece features a ‘Japanese’ decor of blue enamel on a white background and features : a sparrow like bird on a branch. Another bird is flying towards it.
The dish is stamped on the bottom and it reads: LONGWY JAPONAIS 2, S LONGWY, and the number 3.
