Genuine vintage glass apothecary bottle with a red metal cap crossed with gold and black stripes.

It has a yellowed label with red details on which it is written "Terpine".

Terpine was a bronchial secretion thinner extracted from various plants such as eucalyptus, oregano or thyme. Quite popular from the end of the 19th century, it was the object of research by Raphaêl Lépine, a French doctor in 1885
