Fondée en 1797,. La faïence de Creil-Montereau est une production céramique provenant des communes de Montereau, dans le département de Seine-et-Marne et de Creil, dans l’Oise. Elle se développe surtout au XIXe siècle et fut le premier employeur de la ville de Creil pendant des décennies.
Nowadays, HB-Henriot is well known all over the world for its know-how : the "Quimper paint touch" and the tradition of producing and hand-painting every piece in-house as well as the creation of its own moulds.
Very good condition with normal signs of use (the pattern has faded slightly but there are no cracks or chips)
